What is FlatOut 2?
       
     FlatOut 2 is a car game developed by a Finnish company Bugbear Entertainment. It is a sequel a very popular game, FlatOut (1). You can play this game with PC, Xbox and with playstation 2.

     In FlatOut 2 you will drive a car, as you can guess.  But the thing is not so simple at all. You are able to smash other cars in   trees and other barriers on the road. Also your opponents can do this and they also do this in the game, what makes the             game more fun to play. The effects are great! When you hit other cars or they hit your car you can see the bashes and when         you get much damage you can notice how you’re fine and cool car changes to a car what you can find from dump. But no             worries, when the race is over, the car are just fine when you start the next one. When you drive your car in a race you can         destroy many objects what are on the racecourse. And when you destroy items or hit other cars you will gain nitro. Nitro will         give your extra speed, but it will also end when you use it. But no worries! Hit more cars and destroy everything what you             see so you will get more and more it. The graphics are great and the music’s fits to the races like a glove in a hand. During             the race you can listen good music and hear big bangs and exposes when you hit others cars and items. This makes the                 sound world really good. The game also includes a good multiplayer game!

How to play?

    Playing the games is quite simple. You accelerate by pressing the arrow keys and also turn by pressing them. You can use         the "handbrake" by pressing the space key or then the normal brake by pressing arrow key (down). And remember, using             the brakes is necessary. When you come to a curve you will usually need to slow down that you wouldn't hit the wall our fly         out of the track.  As I told you before, you will get nitro when you destroy things and hit others cars. You can use the nitro             by pressing the Ctrl key. You can see the nitro meters going down, but you also notice that your speed will increase very             much.  When using nitro it is also more difficult to turn, so you should use nitro only in straights, but also if you want to smash         someone’s car totally, use nitro when his car is in a curve and then hit him with super speed by using nitro. This will make             huge     damage, and if you play multiplayer game, this will make someone really angry.


    There are three different types of races: Derby, Race and Street. The street section got most good looking and best cars and     the derby then got the worst cars. You can’t use a Street car in the derby class etc. The idea of the game is to win races.         You do this by being the first in the goal, as many people can guess. But you don’t need to be always first to win the whole         battle. There is from three to six races in a one "section”. When you got most points, you will the "section" and get                         rewards. You can see your ranking in the place where you select the races.

    When you get money, you can buy new cars. There are many cars and many updates available. If you got a good car what     you like much, you can buy updates to it. If you need money, you can also sell your old cars or if you just don’t like them.             The games are simple to play and you will learn fast how it works.

    FlatOut 2 also includes a nice multiplayer section. Here you can play with your friends. You can use all cars, if the admin lets you to use them. You can play on the internet server, but this is also very good as a LAN party game.

Mini- Games

        The game includes the race section, but it also includes mini-games. In these games you will do stunts with the driver. You usually jump out of the car and then try to hit something or fly so up or far as possible. This is a good and fun way to spend time and earn some money. In the mini-games, there are some updates if we compare to FlatOut 1. You can use the skill "nudge” what will make the driver to jump a bit up, when flying in the air. You can also try to direct the flying driver by "aerobatics".
In the start of every mini-game you will be told, what is your mission. You can also play these games with your friends with one computer! The lists of the mini-games are bellow:

 High Jump

  • Vault so high as possible in the high jump net.

    Bowling

  • Try to bring down so many bowls as possible, you as the bowling ball.

    Ski jump

  •  As the name tells you, accelerate in the ramp and try to fly so far as you can

    Curling

  • Launch your driver towards the curling ring and try to aim to the centre to get best points.

    Stone-Skipping

  • Jump in the swimming pool and pounce across the surface so far as you can

    Ring of Fire

  • Jump thought so many flaming rings as you can.

    Royal Flush

  • Form a hand of cards. Aim for consecutive card values in the same suit to get high points. 

    Baseball

  • Fly as far as possible after struck by the baseball bat.

    Field Goal

  • Try to do a field goal so fast as possible. Fastest time wins.

    Basketball

  • Get points by donking in the basketball hoops. Most points wins. 

    Soccer

  • Aim to the corners and try to hit them as accurately as possible. Remember to look out the goal keeper!

    Darts

  • Aim for the sections what is shown on the little map and get points by hitting them.

    Soundtracks
     
         As I told you, the game includes very good music’s. But if you don’t like the music, you can turn it off from the options, but I think everyone likes the music. Bellow is the list of the songs and singers what you hear during the races and in the menus:
